Husband of Mary W. Stewart Buchanan, of 9 Fordale Terrace, Carriden, Bo’ness. Born: Hamilton. Fighting with 9th (Scottish) Division during the Advance in Flanders when he sustained a serious wound in the right thigh. He was transported to a stationary hospital at Wimereux but died of his wounds on 27th October.
